Mr. McCarthy joined First Ipswich Bank in October 2016 as its new President & CEO. Jim brings valuable experience to First Ipswich, having served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Danvers Bancorp, Inc., the parent company for Danversbank, and as a director of First Ipswich since 2013. Before joining Danvers Bancorp, Inc., McCarthy was President & CEO of Revere Federal Savings Bank and an associate at Ernst & Young.
Jim has long been involved in First Ipswich Bank’s market area, where he has served on the Boards of several non-profit organizations and currently serves on the Board of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce.
He earned his Bachelor of Science, Business Adminstration from Northeastern University and Executive Education Certificates from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Darden School of Business, University of Virgina.
Mr. Simms joined First Ipswich in 2012 with over 30 years of commercial lending experience. Paul has a significant background in Commercial and CRE lending. He was previously Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending at NorthEast Community Bank and had held the position of Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending with Stoneham Savings Bank, as well as Northern Bank. Paul was also a Vice President and Senior Loan Officer at Beverly National Bank.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Massachusetts. He is an active member of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Noyes, joined First Ipswich in 2016 and brings over 30 years of involvement in the banking industry, as the Regional Manager of our Retail Banking division. Kevin’s experience has included serving as Vice President, Community Development and CRA Officer of People’s United Bank, Director of Compliance at Danversbank, and Director of the Danversbank Charitable Foundation. Prior to that he was the Savings Officer at Marblehead Bank.
He serves on the Board of MA Coalition for the Homeless, and is chairperson of the Middleton Recreation Commission. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the North Shore Community Development Coalition and past Chair NSMC Cancer Walk, and active member of their Steering Committee.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Salem State University and a Banking Certificate from the National School of Banking, Fairfield University.
